Once upon a time, more than 500 years ago, there lived a boy. This boy was nothing and knew he was nothing. Even history has not provided us his name, because he was really nothing.
When this boy was in his final year in secondary school, he saw his classmate rapping and decided to pretend to be a rapper. So he did a song that he stole from an unpopular rapper and got the praise of the whole school. He became known as the best rapper in the school. But he was still an impostor.
When he got into university, he had carried that falsehood so much that he began to believe it himself. He even thought he was creative. He had a funny name, let me see if I can remember. Oh yeah, Phire D…
So, this boy had the whole university thinking he was some talented individual. So fake he was that he even managed to seduce everyone that came across him especially the younger students that he was some great dude going somewhere.
Only for a short time though. You know the saying, you can deceive all the people some of the time, you can deceive some of the people all the time but you can’t deceive all the people all the time. Soon, they got disenchanted with his fake magic and fake innocence. They saw through the smoke and saw that he was an impostor.
Soon enough too, he got disenchanted with himself and the fake image he had built of himself. He saw the futility of it all and realized he was really nothing. Nothing but an impostor.
Hell, he even had his parents thinking he was intelligent. He was just a great impostor.
He decided that suicide was the best option. After deciding the method of suicide he would use, he realized there was one thing left. He needed to write his autobiography. So he put his pen to paper.
He couldn’t think of a title. He sighed. He was never creative to begin with. Then it hit him. The title of the autobiography would be THE GREAT IMPOSTER.
This is a work of art. Names, events and incidents are the products of the author's musings. Any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, or actual events is absolutely intended, so yeah.
Really nice, but not really going for the suicide part
